While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I experienced behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of stale beer and neglected washrooms polluted the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and sickness . The counter , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and trash that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The lavatory was in even more deplorable shape — clogged , with a cracked flush mechanism and walls covered in what I can only assume was human excrement .
